Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner Christina May Bolin was recently recognized with the President’s Award during the Windstorm Insurance Network’s 2020 conference. The award was established to recognize annually a member who has contributed significant knowledge, service, and leadership to better the Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND).
WIND is a professional member association and annual conference founded in 1999 to offer education and industry insight to representatives from all facets of the property/windstorm insurance claims industry. Since 2001, she has defended property and casualty insurers in direct actions involving large property losses, catastrophic casualty claims, complex insurance coverage questions, fraud and bad faith.
Since 2002, Bolin has handled construction defect and related claims, representing large national contractors as well as local contractors and subcontractors. She has handled environmental damage, construction defect, mold, hurricane and products claims regarding commercial buildings, government buildings, condominiums, and residential buildings. She has also completed WIND’s umpire certification. Bolin is licensed to practice in Alabama, Mississippi and New York, and has also assisted in the assessment and handling of matters in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and Tennessee – representing clients in hundreds of mediations, arbitrations and trials.
