Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner Rachel J. Moore was recently elected Secretary of the Greater Birmingham Chapter 53 National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), serving a one-year term. She is also the Chair of NAWIC’s Southeast Region Emerging Professionals Committee.
NAWIC is an international association of women employed in the construction industry which promotes that industry and supports the advancement of women within it.
Rachel Moore is an accomplished attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience. She practices in the areas of commercial, banking and construction litigation, and appellate work. She practices in all state and federal courts in the state of Alabama, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and holds an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. She is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Birmingham Bar Association – where she serves in the Bankruptcy/Commercial Law Section, the Women Lawyers Section, and on the Fee Arbitration Committee. Moore is also a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA), a member of the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Women in the Law Steering Committee, and a member of DRI’s Commercial Litigation and Construction Sections.
