Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Of Counsel Attorney Gabrielle “Gaby” E. Reeves , who is located in our Baldwin County, Alabama office, was recently appointed to the Fee Dispute/Law Firm Dissolution Committee of the Mobile Bar Association.
The stated purpose of the Fee Dispute/Law Firm Dissolution Committee of the Mobile Bar Association is “to help resolve disputes between clients and attorneys regarding legal fees, as well as disputes arising in law firm dissolutions fairly and quickly, by mutual agreement, and, if not, by the decision of a Panel of the Committee that may hear and determine any dispute that the parties agree to submit to the Panel when those parties agree to abide by the Panel’s decision.”
Reeves focuses her practice on general civil litigation with a concentration in first-party insurance, personal injury and premises liability defense litigation. Her experience includes representing both corporations and individuals in trial and appellate work, and she holds an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating and an AV® Preeminent Judicial Division Rating from Martindale-Hubble. Reeves has been active in the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program (SAVLP) throughout her career – serving on the SAVLP Board of Directors for more than 15 years. She is currently a member of the SAVLP’s Executive Board, serving as the program’s Vice-President. Reeves is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) and serves as the editor of the ADLA Journal.
