Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner Kenneth O. Simon has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Alabama to the Alabama Pattern Jury Instructions Committee-Civil.
The Alabama Pattern Jury Instructions Committee-Civil, formed in 1967, monitors and addresses essential changes and additions to the pattern jury instructions for civil cases to the Supreme Court of Alabama. The objectives of this committee are that the jury instruction must be legally accurate, simple and understandable, fair and balanced, and must not be an abstract statement of the law.
Simon is a former circuit judge in Jefferson County and has extensive experience as a mediator and in representing businesses, securities professionals, individuals, and governmental agencies.
