On Thursday, Sept. 12, several of Christian & Small’s female attorneys spent the afternoon at Girls Inc. of Central Alabama with a middle-school-aged group of girls, discussing the importance of body language and how it can be used to express confidence.
While the initial plan was to show Amy Cuddy’s “Your body language may shape how you are” Ted Talk and then open the group up for a lively discussion, technical difficulties prevented the video broadcast. Instead, the attorneys and the girls engaged in a hour-long, spirited two-way conversation about expressing yourself confidently through your body language and how body language can help communicate power, competence and intelligence.
Many thanks to Girls Inc. of Central Alabama for allowing us this incredible opportunity!
