Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Deborah Alley Smith has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2018 Who’s Who in Law list, which includes managing partners, shareholders and top leaders from the largest law and litigation firms in Birmingham.
Acknowledged as a leader in the legal profession, Smith has an active post-judgment and appellate litigation practice, is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the 2014 class of Leadership Birmingham. In 2017, she was was elected to be a member of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, which limits its membership to only 500 members in the United States. She has been recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America®, the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, Benchmark Litigation, and Mid-South Region Super Lawyers, where she is ranked among the 2017 Top 50 Women Mid-South Super Lawyers. Smith currently serves as Teach For America-Alabama’s Advisory Board Chair and is a past president of the Birmingham Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors.
