Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Jonathan M. Hooks has been elevated to partner within the firm effective Jan. 1, 2017. Hooks has practiced with Christian & Small for a number of years and will continue to represent the firm in larger, more expansive roles.
“Jonathan has demonstrated ongoing leadership and made valuable contributions throughout his tenure with Christian & Small. It is an honor to have him join us as a partner in the firm,” Managing Partner Deborah Alley Smith said. “We anticipate he will have a long and distinguished career as a nonstop advocate for our clients.”
Jonathan Hooks focuses his practice on products liability, government relations, and appellate matters. Hooks serves as chair of the firm’s governmental relations practice group and has represented political candidates in matters both political and legal. Additionally, he has advised various committees of the Alabama Legislature during that body’s annual session and served as a ballot security attorney in every Alabama statewide election since 2004.
